Major mechanical failure today. Boat works fine, not to worry but our direct tv dish (KVH HD7) took a crap and spit out a bunch of bearings on one of the axis. I don't even want to say out loud what the repair cost will be. Meanwhile i have no source to watch below deck????. On the upside i took the helm apart to access and replace burt out instrument lights. Thats all good. Also i spent the last few days off doing a lot of paint touch up on the hull sides. Lot of use this season and had a lot of bruises and scuffs from all this docking.

Sunrise in Milwaukee, Sunset in Chicago. Plus a little of the surfing back to Chicago with some following seas. We were cruising at 15-16 kts and surfing up to 19.6 kts. These old boats require a lot of steering. Burning some fuel.
