About 9 miles short of our return run to Chicago I lost my starboard engine pretty abruptly. Put someone behind the wheel and I thought fuel filters. I cleaned the pancake screen for larger debri followed by changing the cartridge filter. No luck. This morning im back up running. Changed out the ignition relay. Yes i stock extras. Ive burnt them out before. 454 Crusader xl with efi. Symptoms didn't seem the same as before otherwise i would have changed it while under way and could have docked with two engines. I dont mind honing docking skills once in a while.

You’re gonna love the diesels…
Docking on one is never fun. I’m sorry to say I’m good at it! lol
She hasn’t been lucky lately but you keep her going.
I had a ballast resistor go bad on me coming into the canal to my dock. I am passing big dollar boats on the way to my dock on my port engine. I’m am to close to the port to get into my slip to starboard. I managed it. But it was tight. I wish I would of know it was the ballast resistor. I would of jumped it real quick.
