I’d say the original looks to be made of stainless, but the two new options don’t appear to be.
U could use aluminium. Marianne has both
There are a ton of used parts out there. Search a bit for original trim pieces maybe. Just a thought.
Blackley Supplies has trap door transition. Located out by UPS
Jamestown distributors, should match original

If you got a lot of them to do by sheet of stainless and have them water cut it out. I had an engine hatch down this way!

I need 17 hatches too, even in aluminum costs the wallet.

As long as it’s stainless steel.
How much do you need
Check with any sheet metal shop bring a sample and measure twice
try a local salvage yard, cheap.

Providing you have the measurements any sheet-metal shop would be glad to cut them for you. Put the holes in as well.
Aluminum or stainless!
If it was me, I would go to your local sheet metal shop. Take some measurements and have them sheer off the pieces in the right with by length. Then have them drill the holes on whatever centers you need. I would do it out of stainless and then polish. That would be the Chris-Craft way.
There is a company north of algonac that makes all the trim including J molding. I can’t remember the company name.
