Cinderella Update: I've been going through all my old Hurricane Matthew posts here and saving them for maybe a future book. There is so much that you guys didn't see or know, but my only written journal of the events was here in this group. There is a zillion people here that helped me as you guys have seen … but on this day, the day that I gave up on it all … nobody knows what turned that around. It was because Casey Seidl (a complete stranger to me other than the few weeks I had been in this group) picked up the phone, and drug me out from under that dark cloud. I haven't seen this post since the day I posted it. I will try and share more when I get it all organized, can add details and will post it on my website (www.nauticinderella.com)… And then for the second part of the book, the post-hurricane repairs that have been done… more to come #nauticinderella #cinderellaupdate

That was an amazing journey to follow from the comfort of my kitchen, and I thank you for sharing. It will make quite a book!

She’s a beautiful old girl
Suggest you contact IRG. Cruisers brought donated supplies and carpenters Doctors sailing their own boats to Ille Les Vauche Haiti to help the Victims of Mathews devastation. It’s an ongoing effort. I’ll send you a link.
Would make a great movie Cindy !!!
I guess I was lucky…I had a 1960 something 42ft Chris Craft flush deck with the extended hard top. Needed some work and eventually paint but a nice user boat. I did sell her to someone who wanted to live aboard her. Actually made a nice profit…good timing! Good luck with your big girl! 🙂
Amazing story. Been following ever since Hurricane Matthew. Please keep the updates coming. All my best.
I remember that post and being on that thread! There’s a story within a story. A story about how “social media” has become a modern greif support system, or motivational or accountability group. Bee colonies make better decisions by “going public” and getting many perspectives to base a course of action. Kinda like humans and Facebook, etc. The bigger story was your Patience, Perseverance, Hope, and Humility.
You’re an inspiration to us all. Keep up the good work.
Bet you’re glad you kept er now Cindy!
I remember that post very vividly. So happy for all your success!
Good Job!
Well Cindy Chebultz. Thank you for the shout out. We are here when you need us! I am very happy you are making it and your boat is afloat. Now we need to get you to Texas. 🙂
