imperial is about 200 river miles from where i live, tiptonville tenn., would love to see you go by. any idea when you might pass?
The photos are great, Cindy. Thanks so much. But the Mississipi is truly an industrial river, lined with signs of its industrial past (and future?). We are a long way from the Mississipi of Mark Twain here. The river has its own majesty about it, of course, its width, length, and storied history. But pretty it ain’t, I think.
Watch out for those submerged logs stay on the shifters coming in and out of the locks
