I really despise these Masonite panels and have Marianne’s old canvas to use as a template or test run. Anyone have a ’67ish 45′ with canvas that you can post pictures???

That canvas looks like it will work. Look good.
Wish I could help you. Still no name?
I like the canvas, is what I have on my 30’ Constellation. My cockpit is closer to water so more spray when running. Nice thing about canvas is you can always snap it off ????. (Sistership shown)

here’s a look at my in-laws’ boat, 1967 45′ connie in CT. my husband and i have a 30′ that has the canvas like mark’s photo ^ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPArzEfIo4c
Yes. That hard surface panel looks pretty clunky by comparison to the fabric. I too would switch that back to the original format.
Cindy Chebultz I will post some pics of my dads 42 Connie. It had canvas Dodgers across the aft. Pics are from late 80s but can still get an idea
I never noticed them before, I’m with you, remove them!
here is my old ’67. I had the weather cloth made to go all the way from the hand rail to the toe rail because we had dogs. Originally, it didnt go this high up….I liked it

More examples of the canvas can be seen here…

Love the canvas !
Canvas is definitely the best way to go. Those Masonite panels make the boat look like gypsies live aboard !!
Canvas all the way!
The vinyl looks much better than the panels
I have canvas spray curtains. To answer your question, there is a chrome piece with a 90 degree angle that screws into the rail stanchion
They have pockets sewn into them with bars running through for stiffeners on the top and bottom

That’s at the corner on top with a elbow tying the two bars together
