Cool! I would love to catch a ride on it. I watched it once coming in to Manitowoc, and it dropped the anchor and backed down on it to swing the stern into the pier. Perfectly maneuvered.
Last summer we pulled our 1968 23′ Cruisers Inc woody to the Hessel, MI boat show and came home on the Badger. Put a boat on a boat!
Very nice! Awesome sight!
Sweet!
Love steamships
Sweet! She belongs in Algonac..The River, St Clair Flats and Harsens Island would look good on her.
You’re almost home….
You missed Door County ?
Thought they scrapped the Badger
So cool it’s still working..
It’s always so cold there, every time I ever been there. You have to be tired Alligator
Albert Bartkus, you still in Ludington passing thru? Come visit me at Thompson Marina for a visit if so, I have open gas dock and more awaiting you, thanks.
Thank you for sharing your journey! Loved all your photos, videos and music. Not sure what the protocol is for returning “Loopers”, but hope you are welcomed home with great enthusiasm…at least a fire boat or two!
Should of got a shot of the Sleeping Bear Doons from the water.I rode on the Badger as a kid in the late 60s.
Seemed like Wisconsin side calm, Mich rough or vice versa..
