Second round of more thorough post hurricane cleaning means bleaching, vinegar and tea tree oil on all of my master stateroom dressers… So I know there's probably some carpenters in here and… if you were a set of 6 drawers that are actually numbered 1 through 6 on the back which order would you go back into those slots… because I've tried a couple different ways and there seems to always be one that absolutely will not cooperate but they are post hurricane. #nauticinderella

I bet you will number them paired with the cabinet holes when you figure it out.
I would try across like you read and second choice would be starting at left 1 with 2 below 3/4 5/6. I’ll bet u tried these sequences though!!! LOL
It’s probably a little swelled up ?
Also check the face of the drawers for “edge rubbing”..at least you will know those spots touch other drawers and are not on the outside edge
Also if any of the drawer face inner edges have any kind of staining(squashed spiders)…those stains will have been transferred to the cabinet face
And you have nice built ins! I only have a couple built in twins and 2 wardrobes and a small dresser in the back. It deals cramped. How is your state room laid out? Don’t you have a queen in there as well
Aaron yes I have a queen bed in the middle with dressers like this on each side except the ones that are Portside are twice as tall so there’s a wardrobe with doors
Cindy how about some pics. I want to redesign my room to get a queen in. Unfortunately I have a water tank under the starboard bed that will need to be relocated
Did you look inside the case to see if the rails are numbered?
You can try some paraffin wax in the rails to make them slide easier.

So after trying different combinations this time I put 1 top left 2 below it, etc… 3 (middle top) is really the only trouble maker with this numbering even with a soap bar… Will sand it another day 🙂
soap has acids in it… should use paraffin wax
