So head #2 there's absolutely no instructions with this kit. I figure we just start taking apart and find all of the pieces in our service kit and replace those? The motor runs, just nothing happens in the bowl. And what does that lever on the floor do?? (Never had this model before) … update: think we found the problem (see pics)

Just hang over the side and poop in the water like God intended!
Lever on side would normally have a handle on it to flush manually
The lever on the floor let’s water in for flushing. In my Connie it pumps sea water. Some have been converted to pump from a fresh water tank.
Isn’t that instructions in the picture with the new parts ??
There are all kinds of youtube videos for marine toilets….https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXlqBlD6-aQ
Did you buy the complete toilet or just a repair kit. That looks like instructions how to install the toilet
When you push the button that makes the pump run it sucks what ever is in the bowl into the holding tank. To get more water into the bowl step on that lever with your left foot while still pumping , it brings in lake water so you can control how much water you pump into the tank. The lever on the right as you look at the bowl is so you can manually pump it if you loose power or the motor dies. Have to disconnect the linkage first by removing a 7/16 bolt . My is 51 years old and still works great , just a little loud compared to other ones Groco still sell the same unit today rebuild kits run 80 to 100 dollars. I got my cheap thru Walmart but never had to use it. That looks the same as mine and it’s a K regular toilet service kit from Groco
Brody is either going to be a marine mechanic or an auto mechanic !!
…or, more likely, an electrical or mechanical engineer..
lots of info on the Net /.Groco is a good toilet
Look up dilbert the knack on you tube. Enjoy and thank me later!
All I can say is WOW! I would have taken the easy rout and bought a new one. At least you would have instructions ????
Think we found the problem

Depressing lever with foot lets in sea water; it is spring loaded to close auto. U press it in conjuction with running the motor to flush the bowl. Doubt a replacement shaft is in the service kit. Call or E Grocco, they been making that unit for yrs & when properly maintained, works & will last!
