The guy that painted this boat last, somewhere around 20 YEARS AGO
Somewhere within a thread of a thread of a picture I posted, we were talking about the hull of this boat. I personally talked to the guy that painted this boat last, somewhere around 20 YEARS AGO. He V groved the seams and then painted it with an epoxy type, 2 part paint (Interlux 800). I finally got enough spiders, mud daubers and duck poop off the top side of the boat that today I actually washed the starboard hull with soap in a bucket and a brush. And this is what it looks like after all the dirt and film is gone. #boatwithnoname

V groove , is that what it sounds like ? Just creating a contoured chaulking seam in the shape of a V?
That is what all excellent painters do; use premium paints ( that really hold up for many, many years.)
Wow !! She’s beautiful !!!

Amazing condition
Sweet. Interesting cause they say not to use the epoxy paints on wood boats. But obviously it’s held up very well.
A well cared for vessel passed to a new owner that is fully appreciative . Cheers to the previous and current owner!
