The control is on the left… what were pumping out of the engine are the other 3… Drained out 3 times, 2 flushes with oil and diesel #nauticinderella

That’s just like mine ????????
What continues to create the milky color? After draining 3X and with the two flushes I would expect a better outcome by now. Humm???
How many gallons of oil- diesel fuel have you flushed through?
Something not adding up here. Not seeing improvement. Close seacock to cooling system on this engine, then continue?
The color is the same, but the consistency is much different
Hope there’s not a coolant breach somewhere
Salt or fresh ?
Are you running the motor until it is hot enough to vaporize (steam) through all it’s vents? That will help remove water by vaporizing
We have done many sinkers … we don’t mix diesel … we only use diesel for flush or long term pickle … and we prefer used oil .. cheaper and shows the water dilution better because of the dark color … and it is impossible to get it all out, as someone mentioned … get most of it out and run it light to medium use with the fill and vent filters off and let the water vaporize … when it quits steaming do another change with new oil
P.S. don’t forget how much water your filter holds … change it !
P.S.S. you don’t have to fill to operating range as you are first getting the water out … 3 gallons should be good for a quick run to mix and pump out … quicker and uses less resources
Are you sure you’re draining/pumping it all out from the bottom of the sump? When I sunk dad’s boat, I pumped out about 3 gallons of muck the consistency of a milk shake. Took me two drains and refills to get back to normal. That was a 185 V8 though.
Edit: the starter and alternator needed replacement soon after too. That was in Lake Huron fresh water.
You can find a local source for dry good drain oil, free? Oil change centers? Any place that sells oil has a return policy.
most Autozones or similar do oil collection and will usually have a few containers full that they haven’t dumped in their collection tank yet … they’re always happy to give it away !
