Issue I have seen is while the light may look brighter and whiter it may not actually shine further . I guess if you can find an led about the same price it might be worth a try but you may be disappointed in some of them.

The base of bulb must be a match to another , match it up then find an LED replacement.
Looks like a common automotive bayonet bulb. Look at the 1057 bulbs to see if it fits. Then look for the led equivalent. Auto parts stores can help you.
I have bought led replacement bulbs on line. About half the cost of auto parts store. I was leaning toward 1156 a single filament bulb
