This is our newest addition … Drove 1,100 miles one way to get it and we are halfway back to Texas … We bought it as a 1959 Rocket, but the transom shows 1956. lifeofacaptain.

The rocket emblem on the side was only on the 56 rocket. Yours was cut out to allow for a rear seat addition. 57 and up had a walkthrough deck.

Cindy I read your post on forum board that is why there was snow on the ground. Lucky I was only 25 miles to score my 58 Rocket last month in Chattanooga. Here is a nifty pic of your son new best friend Mayor Nick in Knoxville has his Gold 56 since 1957 I believe.. Also the smaller side rear logo swish should only. Be 56. The ’57 with the walk thru he was talking about, I think, is this model which I’m doing for a customer. 30 yrs of sitting outside, of course the hull is perfect but there was some nice mulch on the inside. Be interesting to follow yours. The youngster looks like he’s getting into it. Glad to see that.

Hang in there there were florescent red painted spray rails on my 57 rocket when I got it… They plus the blue anodizing were a pain
