Ive been to Coinjock. The restaurant next to the ICW is pretty good.
Welcome to Virginia mariners! Waterside in Norfolk (locals pronounce it Naw-Fik) is a great stop, great restaurants at Lynnhaven inlet on Long Creek if you are so inclined. Cape Charles is cozy, restaurant and fuel. Bluewater in Hampton, another good choice.
