Tonight’s project:. We have air, but no noise?? Kiddo says the screws are stripped, or corroded, or too tapered, or something??? Who has gotten their original air horn working again?

So before I got this boat it was barely used for 10+ years. And I always just use the onboard water tank (because you can’t sink a boat with water that’s on board) but the stuff in the bottom of the water tank occasionally clogs up my faucets and shower. Next time it gets low maybe I need to see if there’s a way to Shop-Vac it out??? Any other suggestions??

Compressor upgrade. Had to finally ditch the original 120 v beast that weights about 70 lbs. Installed new 12 volt in the galley pantry. She charges to 150 psi and I intigrated the original holding tank which is about 20 gallons on the engine room ceiling. This project also freed up necessary engine room space and will be good for deisel conversion later this coming winter. Its too quiet here now to do a test video but i will follow up with that. My trumpets are louder than ever. They never seen more than 90ish psi.

Tune up today. This is why we know a repower is inevitable. I suspect there will be a bit more nursing this season and keeping a close eye on my mains and genset for that matter. Genset is up to 3,652 hours and actually still going strong.

Tonight’s project: Central Vacuum. Anyone that has a ’45ish boat … This port side cabinet in the the salon holds a Dirt Devil central vac system perfectly (I just slide it over, tip it forward and change the bag) … This is the same system that Albert installed on Marianne
