Y’all remember what we were doing this time last year? Hard to believe that it’s been a year!! #nauticinderella
Cinderella update:: I’m heart broken, my 57′ 1964 Connie. I’m going to need help figuring this out!!! … Before #HurricaneMatthe
Found the booth and met the president and vice president #MissMarianne and #nauticinderella. Cruise later
I think most of you know how I almost lost Ella #nauticinderella to hurricane Matthew, and that I also live in Texas… Now the trifecta of hurricanes is heading towards her again this year in Florida (Irma, Jose and Depression #13). I can’t even begin to tell you how tired I am of hurricanes right now. But many of you have asked me and she seems to be in a very good place for what is heading her way. See is probably 3 hours from the coast by boat pretty far up the St John’s River. All 16 batteries are charged, she’s got 3 bilge systems (110, 12v, 36v, and a back up badass pump that runs off the starter bank), fenders are out, lines are checked… And I am the crazy one with a flight back to Florida on Tuesday if it looks bad. Thank you to all who are concerned and asking 🙂

A little emotional today, I know what it’s like when you realize a hurricane is coming right at your boat. And tonight, as a hurricane is bearing down on Texas the memories of that day with #nauticinderella come flooding back again. I’m safe 200 miles away from the coast but have friends Casey Seidl, his wife Shellee Baker Seidl and daughter live on “Gods Machine”, they have personally put a ton of blood, sweat, and tears into that boat and they are ground zero for Hurricane Harvey in Rockport with their 1959 55′ Constellation. I know what it’s like to clear everything that means anything to you off your boat and prepare to possibly lose her … and that’s what they are doing tonight. Several people have messaged me and I’m totally fine, but if you pray for anyone here in this group pray for them.
