So what we thought would be an easy motor replacement, ended up having to remove the whole blower, which meant removing the black tank, and while the black tank is out might as well clean it, and if I’m going to do that dirty mess I might as well take out both black tanks and clean them. Life of a boat owner.

SOMEtimes…………………………
Good thing you have a live-aboard mechanic!
And a great experience for your son!! So cool to see how handy he is!
One thing living aboard has taught me, EVERYTHING is a process. We decided to get the salon windows retinted, well, we had better repaint the frames, oh and we should go ahead and strip the wood trim, restain and varnish. I keep saying, I love my boat, I love my boat…
A labor of love that all of us can’t get enough of.
Great to see there’s at least one kid today that’s developing all the skills I did at that age. It will give him a lot more options of wherever he wants to go in his life.
There should be a part number on the motor. Dayton is still in business
The proverbial wooden boat can of worms, it’s too easy to open and very hard to close!
Why is that water so green?
One part at a time restoration????get r done !
